Youth Members in Godola Employed as Community Coordinators
The head of the health center in Godola recently chose three members of ASSYSGOD to serve as community coordinators for the identification of OVC (orphans and vulnerable children) in the area through a publicly-funded project. This opportunity is providing steady employment for these three members.
The association has also benefited from the assistance of several Peace Corps Volunteers with agricultural expertise, who helped ASSYSGOD to make a community compost and to produce natural pesticides from local plants for protecting their crops.
