Peace Corps Collaboration
In March 2009, EFA International was invited to participate in the Peace Corps Health Volunteer in-service training in Maroua. The training was attended by all Peace Corps Health Volunteers and their respective counterparts from throughout the region.
EFA’s Country Representative was asked to present on EFA’s innovative approach to supporting HIV+ youth. Two members of AJEPS also gave presentations, one on managing income generation activities and one on best practices for establishing youth associations.

Caitlyn Bradburn
The Associate Director of Health Programs for Peace Corps publicly acknowledged her support for the collaboration between EFA and the Peace Corps. This relationship was further solidified by the permanent assignment of Caitlyn Bradburn to EFA as an HIV Technical Assistant through December 2011.
