Sponsor a Community Garden
The members of ASSYSGOD, in the rural village of Godola, are planning a community garden as an income generation project. This garden will engage all members of the association and create employment opportunities, from working in the garden to selling the fruits and vegetables harvested at the market. The association would like to cultivate fruits and vegetables that will assist in their own personal nutrition, a key action in remaining healthy and living positively with HIV/AIDS. The members of the group will benefit from foods that they may not normally be able to purchase to improve their nutrition, while selling the surplus at the market to generate revenue for the operations of the association.
